After a strange explosion, Alexander Hayes wakes up in the Hoenn region with no idea of what is going on or how he got there. Soon enough his countless hours playing Pokémon work in his favor as he is able to read strange glyphs and find explanations to difficult theories baffling researchers.

However, his unknown whereabouts leaves everyone wary of his intentions. How can he gain the favor of those around him and at the same time figure out how he got to the Pokémon world?
